Background information
CD324は E-Cadherin または cadherin-1 としても知られ、大腸、子宮、肝臓、ケラチノサイトなどの上皮細胞の接着結合部に存在するカルシウム依存性の細胞接着分子です。E-Cadherin は、インテグリンαE/β7 のリガンドでもあります1。このエピトープは、MCF-7, HT-29, T-47D, NTERA-2, そして 2102Epなど、様々な上皮癌由来細胞株に発現しています。E-Cadherin の欠失は、細胞間コンタクトの崩壊を招き、癌の転移を可能にすると考えられています。また、これは癌転移の初期段階と考えられています2。さらに、E-Cadherin は未分化ES細胞とiPS細胞のマーカーと考えられています3,4。これらの細胞にとって、E-Cadherin は細胞生存のためのシグナリングにおいて主要な働きをしています5。 |

| Human induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells were stained with CD324 (E-Cadherin) antibodies conjugated to PE (A) or APC (B) and analyzed by flow cytometry using the MACSQuant® Analyzer. Cell debris and dead cells were excluded from the analysis based on scatter signals and propidium iodide fluorescence. Right line represents CD324 (E-Cadherin) staining, left line represents isotype control. |
